City Council

A voter just sent me this! Ballots came out today.

I enjoyed being at the candidate forum in Stanwood. Unfortunately, my opponent had to work and couldn’t make it.

I am encouraged and grateful for the latest poll numbers.  But the real election is in November.Yes, I am a candidate for Stanwood City Council.   Experience matters!

Please watch the video below.

One of my supporters, Dennis Anderson,  was a city council member in the 1970’s.  Dennis is a lifetime Stanwood resident and 1951 graduate of Stanwood High School.  His parents ran a grocery store in West Stanwood in the day.

This photos below are from my time in Lynnwood. Listen to what Mayor Smith recently said about my time there on the Council:

“Sid was a rock on Lynnwood City Council. He is an ethical, value driven human and those qualities are critical for public servants. One could always count on his vote, with regard to critical city policy and budget issues, to be well thought out and well researched. Civility is also very important to Sid. He will contribute to the city of Stanwood with professionalism and excellence.”

I served Lynnwood from 2012-2015 and as Council Vice President 2013, 2014.

Experience matters! I also served proudly on the Snohomish County Health District board in 2014, 2015. Taking the oath of office with current Snohomish County Chair Terry Ryan, current council member Sam Low and then council member and now county Executive Director Ken Klein.
